The Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIIT) invites qualified candidates to apply for the role of Senior Manager / Risk Management. This role is critical for maintaining and improving risk management systems aligned with the institution’s strategic objectives.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments at institutional and group levels to identify and analyze potential risks.
• Update and maintain the risk register on a quarterly basis.
• Develop risk management controls and systems, designing processes to eliminate or mitigate risks.
• Ensure risk exposures are aligned with board-approved risk appetite levels.
• Review and monitor the operational risk governance framework.
• Assess the risk levels of investments undertaken by the entity.
• Report risk-related matters to the Audit Committee promptly.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors, as well as regulatory bodies.

Minimum Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree or a professional qualification from a recognized university or institution.
• Minimum 12 years of work experience in a relevant field, including at least 2 years in a similar managerial capacity within a reputable organization.
• Strong communication, project management, problem-solving, and supervisory skills.
