Key Responsibilities
- Monitor live and recorded CCTV footage for suspicious or unusual activities.
- Operate and manage surveillance equipment efficiently.
- Respond promptly to alarms and security incidents and report to relevant authorities.
- Maintain logs including activity, incident reports, and equipment maintenance records.
- Coordinate with on-site security staff and emergency services as required.
- Ensure all camera views remain clear and equipment functions optimally.
- Assist law enforcement agencies with CCTV footage access when necessary.
- Adhere to data protection and privacy laws related to CCTV usage.
- Perform routine system checks and basic troubleshooting of CCTV equipment.
Qualifications and Experience
- Computer literate with a basic understanding of mathematics.
- Possess certificates or completed short courses in CCTV, Surveillance, or Security Systems.
- Preferably 1-2 years of experience working as a CCTV operator or in security surveillance.
