AGROMAX invites qualified candidates to apply for the position of Area Sales Executive responsible for expanding the company’s market in water pumps across Kaluthara, Galle, and Mathara. This role emphasizes building customer relationships and driving sales through various channels including dealers, projects, and retail.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop and implement monthly and quarterly territory sales plans to meet targets.
• Identify and onboard new dealers, hardware shops, engineering firms, and project customers to increase market share.
• Conduct regular field visits to maintain strong customer relations and ensure satisfaction.
• Demonstrate products, explain technical details, and recommend suitable water pump models according to customer needs.
• Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and promotional activities reporting insights to management.
• Collaborate with service and technical teams to coordinate installations, after-sales service, and warranty claims.
• Ensure timely payment collection and adhere to company credit policies.
• Maintain accurate sales records, visit reports, and customer databases with weekly market coverage reports.
• Participate in sales meetings, trade exhibitions, and promotional campaigns as required.
• Prepare and submit timely and accurate sales reports to management.
• Promote the AGROMAX brand and uphold a professional reputation in the market.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Sales & Marketing, ideally with water pumps, hardware, or building materials.
• Strong ability to develop customer networks and achieve sales targets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated, energetic, and willing to travel extensively.
• Valid riding or vehicle license is mandatory for territory coverage.
