Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts, Sri Lanka’s largest hotel owner and part of John Keells Holdings PLC, is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join the Cinnamon Life team at City of Dreams. This role involves analyzing sales and revenue trends, developing impactful reports, and collaborating with various departments to enhance commercial decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze sales performance, revenue trends, and pipeline activity to provide timely and accurate insights for strategic and commercial decisions.
• Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and management reports to track performance against targets.
• Identify gaps, risks, and growth opportunities through detailed data analysis and market intelligence.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams to support forecasting, budgeting, and target-setting processes.
• Conduct competitor and market analysis for strategic positioning in local and international markets.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency within CRM and reporting systems.
• Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and streamline workflows.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics or related field.
• 3-5 years proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in sales, marketing, hospitality, or commercial environments.
• Strong proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and CRM systems with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills with high attention to detail.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, capable of engaging senior leadership effectively.
