The Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIIT), a leading institution in higher education in Sri Lanka, is seeking a Web Administrator Intern to join their Marketing Team. This internship offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in web management, content maintenance, SEO, and digital marketing activities at their Malabe campus.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist the Web Team in developing new websites and implementing website enhancements.
• Maintain website content across multiple CMS platforms ensuring accuracy and adherence to branding guidelines.
• Perform quality assurance checks for content display consistency on desktop and mobile devices.
• Support basic search engine optimization (SEO) and website content optimization.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation related to website management and digital initiatives.
• Manage social media content and assist in digital engagement activities.
• Perform administrative and coordination tasks related to marketing and website projects as required.

Requirements and Preferred Skills

• Graduate or undergraduate from a recognized university or institute.
• Understanding of HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, jQuery, Adobe XD, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Knowledge of WordPress (CMS), PHP, and MySQL.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Hands-on experience with basic video editing and graphic design tools is preferred.
