Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain quality control procedures aligned with ISO, FSSC, HACCP, and GMP standards
• Oversee quality operations including raw material inspection, in-process analysis, and finished product evaluation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes using systematic problem-solving
• Ensure customer specifications are met and effectively manage complaints with corrective action plans
• Conduct internal audits and implement corrective measures to ensure compliance
• Train and guide production teams on quality standards to promote a culture of excellence
• Analyze quality metrics to identify trends and drive continuous improvement
• Stay updated on industry regulations and technological advancements to enhance quality assurance processes

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Quality Management, Engineering, Polymer Science, or related fields
• Minimum 15 years experience in food manufacturing, with at least 5 years in flexible packaging industry
• Proficiency in ISO 22000, HACCP, FSSC 22000, and GMP certifications mandatory
• Strong leadership, analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and excellent communication in English and Sinhala
• Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems
