Citizens Development Business Finance PLC (CDB) invites applications for the position of Management Trainee in Information System Audit. This role is ideal for individuals who are keen to develop expertise in Information Systems Audit, contributing to technology governance and risk management initiatives within a leading financial institution.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Information Systems audits across key technology platforms and business applications to ensure compliance with internal policies and IT governance frameworks
- Evaluate IT general controls (ITGCs), application controls, cybersecurity measures, and data integrity across systems
- Assist in assessing compliance with regulatory requirements of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, ISO 27001, and other applicable information security standards
- Review system change management processes and access controls to ensure alignment with industry best practices
- Support identification of risks, control gaps, and opportunities for improvement within IT infrastructure, continuity, and disaster recovery planning
- Conduct special reviews and investigations as required
Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field from a recognized university
- Part or full qualifications in ISO 27001 (ISMS) or equivalent certifications are an added advantage
- Minimum one year of experience in internal audit, external audit, or within the banking and financial services sector
- Strong communication and analytical skills
