Maliban Dairy & Agri Products (Pvt) Ltd is expanding its business and seeking an experienced Manager/Assistant Manager to oversee operations at its mango plantations in Athimale, Monaragala. This role focuses on managing the cultivation, maintenance, and harvesting processes to produce top-quality mangoes under sustainable agricultural practices in compliance with SL GAP and Global GAP standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and manage all plantation operations.
• Oversee cultivation activities, upkeep, maintenance, and harvesting processes.
• Manage crop growth including irrigation and fertilization for optimal fruit quality and quantity.
• Implement proper agronomical practices throughout the plantation.
• Optimize labor and resource allocation to meet budget and efficiency goals.
• Maintain farm equipment and infrastructure by following maintenance schedules.

Educational Qualifications and Skills Required

• Degree, Higher National Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Agriculture, Agronomy, or related fields.
• Strong leadership and management capabilities.
• At least 5 years of proven experience in managing mango plantations or similar agricultural operations.
• Comprehensive knowledge of all stages of fruit development and care needed to produce export-quality mangoes.
• Exposure to modern farming methods, land management, export regulations, and sustainability practices.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure, meeting targets on time and within budget.
