Nations Trust Bank PLC is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join the IT Governance team. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining the integrity of the bank’s IT infrastructure by managing IT assets, ensuring IT compliance, and supporting strategic IT initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a comprehensive and up-to-date inventory of IT assets including hardware, software, and licenses, ensuring accurate and timely updates within the central inventory system.
- Assist in monitoring compliance across IT operations and projects by maintaining checklists and logs, escalating any non-compliance issues promptly.
- Support the documentation and process maintenance for IT governance, including drafting, updating, and version-controlling operational procedures.
- Review IT user access by assisting internal risk teams in periodic reviews of privileged access across critical systems.
- Assist in preparing the annual IT budget by compiling usage and cost data and coordinating with internal departments.
- Identify inefficiencies in IT operations and asset management processes, propose improvements, and help implement basic automation solutions.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- High attention to detail and capacity to collaborate efficiently with internal teams.
Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-4 years experience in IT or a related role.
- IT-related degree or partial qualification in Banking (CBF completion preferred).
- ITIL Foundation certification and related cybersecurity certifications are advantageous.
