NDB Bank hiring Associate Manager – Transaction Monitoring and Screening – Apply Now

This role is focused on supporting the bank’s transaction monitoring program to detect, investigate, and report suspicious financial activities in line with regulatory AML/CFT requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor daily alerts from the transaction monitoring system, ensuring timely review, escalation, and closure.
  • Collaborate with branches and business units for alignment and resolution of transaction monitoring escalations.
  • Track stakeholder feedback on the TM system and discuss improvement opportunities with the team leader.
  • Maintain proper documentation and audit trails for investigations, branch responses, and closing remarks.
  • Assist in reducing false positives through whitelisting and contribute to system and process enhancements.
  • Stay updated on emerging AML/CFT risks, regulatory changes, and typologies.
  • Liaise with business units to understand transactional profiles for appropriate monitoring calibration.
  • Support communication of key risk findings to senior Compliance, Risk, and Audit functions.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Professional qualification in Banking, Compliance, or Banking Operations (e.g., Diploma in Banking or Diploma in Compliance from IBSL).
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a Commercial Bank covering Audit, Compliance, Legal, or Branch Operations.
  • Basic understanding of banking regulations including AML, CFT, and KYC.
  • Self-motivated, confident, and determined professional.
  • This is a contract position at the Associate Manager level.
