NDB Bank is seeking qualified candidates for the positions of Junior Executive, Senior Banking Associate, and Banking Associate in Fraud Risk Monitoring. This role is vital in protecting the bank against money laundering, terrorist financing, and fraud by effectively managing transaction alerts and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage transaction alerts generated by predefined transaction rules.
- Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timeliness in transaction management.
- Monitor transactions and proactively implement measures to reduce operational losses.
- Maintain complete compliance with all internal and external regulations, including process and audit sign-offs.
- Monitor and screen merchants, wallets, aggregators, and transactions.
- Review transaction monitoring policies and recommend improvements for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure transaction monitoring team meets service levels and maintains open cases at 10% weekly or monthly.
- Provide timely transaction verification assistance to agents.
- Perform periodic reviews to ensure error-free actions generated by the unit.
- Submit timely Transaction Monitoring MIS reports.
- Assess geographic relevance of remitters and beneficiaries, escalating suspicious cases as per procedures.
Candidate Requirements
- Full or part qualification in Banking and Finance or an equivalent professional qualification.
- 2-5 years of experience in payment card transaction monitoring.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills.
