People’s Bank Hiring IAM / PAM Administrator – Apply Now

People’s Bank, a premier bank in Sri Lanka with over six decades of service, is inviting applications for the position of Identity Access Management (IAM) / Privilege Access Management (PAM) Administrator within its Information Security Department. This role plays a vital part in safeguarding privileged accounts and ensuring robust security compliance aligned with global standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain IAM/PAM policies in accordance with NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, and PCI-DSS standards.
  • Configure and manage IAM/PAM tools to secure privileged accounts across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
  • Manage credential lifecycle including discovery, onboarding, rotation, and secure storage.
  • Investigate and respond to security incidents related to IAM/PAM such as credential misuse or unauthorized access.
  • Recommend enhancements to IAM/PAM controls based on incident analysis.
  • Support audits by providing documentation, access logs, and evidence of controls.
  • Ensure privileged account compliance with regulatory and bank policies.
  • Implement just-in-time access, session monitoring, and multi-factor authentication (MFA) for privileged accounts.
  • Enforce least privilege principles by defining and reviewing access policies for privileged users and systems.
  • Collaborate with IT and application teams for IAM/PAM solution integration.
  • Monitor and audit privileged account activities and generate reports on usage, compliance, and security events.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Sri Lankan citizenship is mandatory.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Security, Information Technology from a UGC-recognized institute.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in information security focusing on Identity and Privilege Access Management.
  • Hands-on experience with IAM/PAM tools (e.g., CyberArk, Entra, BeyondTrust, Oelinea, Senhasegural).
  • Strong knowledge of data protection frameworks such as PCI-DSS, POPA, ISO 27001.
  • Awareness of industry trends, emerging technologies, and threats targeting financial institutions.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Preferably below 45 years of age at the application closing date.

Method of Selection

Shortlisted candidates will be called for interviews. The appointment is on a contract basis with annual performance evaluation.

Remuneration

An attractive and negotiable package will be offered, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
