People’s Bank, Sri Lanka’s premier bank with a vast customer base, is inviting applications for the position of Security Architect within its Information Security Department. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about enhancing banking security systems and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Define Information Security Standards, policies, and procedures ensuring consistent implementation across all software and systems.
• Maintain a security architecture aligned with the bank’s objectives, risk appetite, and regulatory requirements such as ISO 27001, COPR, PCI DSS, and applicable local regulations.
• Design and oversee security solutions related to data security, identity access management, and threat mitigation.
• Collaborate with IT teams and other business units to integrate security requirements into new and existing systems and applications.
• Lead security risk modeling, vulnerability testing, and ensure secure deployment processes in production environments.

Eligibility Criteria

• Must be a citizen of Sri Lanka.
• Possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field from a recognized university or institute approved by the University Grants Commission of Sri Lanka.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CRISC, CEH are required.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in designing and implementing security solutions across domains including cloud technologies (e.g., Google Cloud), VPNs, application security, data security, identity access management (MFA, RBAC), malware and patch management.
• Hands-on experience with vulnerability testing and knowledge of Card Security and DSS, ISO 27001 compliance.
• Strong communication skills in both written and verbal forms.
• Maximum age limit: 45 years as at the closing date.

Remuneration

Remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
