Key Responsibilities
- Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of strategic plans aligned with the Bank’s vision, mission, and goals.
- Create, manage, and administer annual budgets, financial forecasts, and project budgets including necessary revisions.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to strategic goals and budget execution.
- Collaborate with branches, Seylan Business Units (SBUs), departments, and other stakeholders for planning, budgeting, and reporting.
- Prepare reports for internal and external parties such as Business Units, Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL), auditors, and rating agencies like Fitch Ratings.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and industry benchmarks to guide strategic and financial planning.
- Contribute to finance-related system developments as required.
- Perform additional tasks or duties as assigned by management.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Banking or Finance, with at least 4 years in Planning and Budgeting roles.
- Full or partial qualifications in academic or professional disciplines such as Banking, CIMA, ACCA, or at minimum the Corporate Level of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting is an added advantage.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English.
- A motivated, proactive individual capable of working autonomously and meeting strict deadlines effectively.
