Singapore Airlines invites qualified candidates to apply for the position of Data & Analytics Engineer. This role involves designing and developing scalable data pipelines, building data marts, and delivering actionable business intelligence insights to support the Singapore Airlines Group.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand business processes, applications, and data lifecycle within Singapore Airlines Group.
• Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and reliable data pipelines using big data tools and platforms.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline issues efficiently.
• Build domain expertise and oversee data quality and service-level agreements (SLAs) for various data flows.
• Explore, analyze, and aggregate data to deliver insightful business analytics and visualizations.
• Design, build, and manage data marts to meet growing data requirements.
• Collaborate in project teams to ensure timely delivery of project goals and resources.
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science & Analytics, Computer Science, or related technical fields.
• Strong communication skills to translate business objectives into data-centric solutions.
• Experience in data analysis to identify gaps, inconsistencies, and deliverables.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks independently.
• More than 2 years of experience with SQL and Python.
• Experience working with AWS, GCP, infrastructure-as-code systems; DevOps experience is advantageous.
• Proficient in ETL pipeline design, implementation, and maintenance.
• Experience with visualization tools, preferably Tableau.
