The Department of Computing at SLIIT Kandy UNI is expanding its team of academic professionals. We are looking for passionate and qualified individuals to join as Lecturer (Tenure Track) or Assistant Lecturer (Temporary). Successful candidates will engage in teaching, research, and mentoring undergraduate students, while contributing to advancing their fields.

• Data Science
• Information Technology
• Artificial Intelligence (Lecturer only)
• Cyber Security (Lecturer only)
• Information System Engineering (Lecturer only)

Qualifications and Experience

Lecturer (Tenure Track)

• A First or Second Class Honours Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant areas listed above, or a First or Second Class Honours three-year Bachelor’s Degree plus a Master’s Degree at SLQF Level 9 or above in a relevant specialization
• Minimum of one year teaching, research, or industry experience
• Evidence of research output
• An MSc in a relevant discipline is an advantage

Assistant Lecturer (Temporary)

• A First or Second Class Honours Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant areas listed above, or a First or Second Class Honours three-year Bachelor’s Degree plus a Master’s Degree at SLQF Level 9 or above in a relevant specialization
• Prior teaching experience is an added advantage
