Sri Lanka Institute of Nanotechnology (SLINTEC) invites applications for the position of Graduate Intern – Analytical Services. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in a world-class nanotechnology research and development environment focusing on innovative product creation and value addition to natural resources.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Preparing samples and reagents for advanced instrumentation
• Maintaining accurate laboratory records
• Supporting compliance with ISO 17025 standards
• Performing laboratory housekeeping tasks
• Operating basic analytical instruments
• Ensuring strict customer confidentiality

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry (Special) from a recognized university
• Theoretical and practical knowledge of modern laboratory instruments such as HPLC, GC-MS, LC-MS is an advantage
• Experience with natural product testing and sample preparation
• Analytical and decision-making skills to resolve problems in various contexts
• Basic knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices and uncertainty calculations
• Excellent communication skills, especially in English, with strong report writing ability based on testing results
