We are seeking a skilled Junior Executive / Executive specialized in Ecommerce focusing on Web and UI/UX to join Spa Ceylon Ayurveda Wellness in Colombo. This role demands expertise in Shopify Liquid, front-end development, UI/UX design, and analytics tools to drive the improvement and optimization of eCommerce platforms across multiple brands.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize e-commerce platforms to ensure high performance and excellent user experiences.
• Develop and customize Shopify themes using Shopify Liquid for enhanced functionality and engagement.
• Implement website features using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to improve responsiveness and user experience.
• Apply UI/UX design principles to enhance site layouts, navigation, and conversion rates.
• Use analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Hotjar, and heatmaps to monitor user behavior and inform improvements.
• Collaborate with design, marketing, and development teams to align eCommerce strategies.
• Implement promotions and campaigns to boost user engagement and sales.
• Provide regular reports on key performance indicators including traffic, conversion, and sales data.
• Troubleshoot technical issues to maintain optimal site performance with minimal downtime.
• Perform site audits focusing on functionality, speed, security, and scalability.
• Continuously audit UI/UX across devices to improve user experience.
• Contribute to custom Shopify app development or demonstrate willingness to learn.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Web Development, or related field.
• Experience with e-commerce, with specialization in Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and UI/UX design.
• Proficient with analytics tools including Google Analytics, Hotjar, and heatmaps.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Deep understanding of UI/UX design principles and a focus on optimizing user experience.
• Familiarity with project management tools like Asana, Jira, or Trello is a plus.
• Experience or keen interest in custom Shopify app development is advantageous.
