Seylan Bank, a leading progressive bank in Sri Lanka, invites qualified and motivated individuals to apply for the position of Customer Relationship Assistant/ Officer. This role is open for candidates located in the Central, North Western, Eastern, and Southern Provinces.
Job Responsibilities
- Identify and understand distinct customer segments and market needs in the assigned area to build business relations and canvass new business through regular customer visits.
- Map and offer suitable financial products and services tailored to customer needs.
- Promote and sell multiple products, including low-cost deposit and digital products.
- Coordinate with branch staff and Head Office departments to maintain a healthy sales pipeline and meet key performance indicators.
- Maintain a positive image of Seylan Bank in the assigned regions.
- Provide insights on market needs and customer behavior to support new and existing product development.
- Liaise with Liability Product Management and Marketing teams to develop deposit generating channels.
- Prepare follow-up reports and monitor transactions and branch business activities.
- Coordinate with other branches to identify and acquire prospective customers.
- Engage with private and local institutions to support customer acquisition and promotional campaigns.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- 2 to 5 years’ experience in banking or financial institutions with exposure to marketing and sales.
- Qualification in CIM or SLIM is an advantage.
- Strong team player with a positive attitude.
- On-the-job experience in canvassing and selling financial solutions.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and team-building skills.
