NDB Bank is looking for an experienced Team Leader in Wholesale Banking to lead a team towards sustainable, profitable growth by executing strategic business and operational plans, ensuring compliance with all regulatory policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand and implement Wholesale Banking strategies and plans for client relationships and regions.
- Serve as a liaison between Chief Manager/RMS and top management to communicate strategies and team feedback.
- Develop and monitor individual plans for Relationship Managers and team members to meet business and operational targets.
- Prepare calendars of activities on weekly to annual basis to achieve business goals.
- Stay updated on policies, procedures, and guidelines affecting business operations.
- Focus on enhancing CASA ratio and Advances-to-deposit ratio through liability business lines.
- Promote localized marketing and awareness efforts to acquire new clients with strong credit profiles.
- Provide leadership, monitor performance, and facilitate course corrections to achieve top-line, bottom-line, and profitability metrics.
- Analyze prospects for business viability, ensuring thorough information collection including market, financials, risks, and references.
- Ensure proper facility structuring based on credit appraisal and security valuation.
- Promptly address recoveries in accordance with policy.
Candidate Requirements
- Possess AIB and Diploma in Credit Management from the Institute of Bankers of Sri Lanka.
- Preferably 20 years of experience in banking.
- Strong strategic orientation and execution capabilities.
- Excellent financial and customer analytics skills.
- Demonstrated leadership and relationship management abilities.
- Position level: Senior Manager.
