Join Cargills Bank as a Credit Officer at the Old Moor Street Branch and play a vital role in providing financial solutions and supporting the branch in achieving its credit targets.

Job Responsibilities

• Meet new customers and provide financial solutions tailored to their needs, focusing on new customer acquisition.
• Assist the branch manager in achieving annual credit targets and growth goals.
• Prepare credit proposals including financial, operating, and risk analyses as per bank requirements.
• Liaise with the bank’s credit approval authority to obtain timely approvals.
• Participate with Branch and Relationship Managers in client meetings and visits.
• Conduct periodic reviews of revolving and other credit facilities to ensure timely monitoring.
• Monitor the branch credit portfolio and offer solutions to customers facing repayment difficulties.

Experience & Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of banking experience, with at least 3 years in a credit-related role.
• Full or part qualification in Banking, Credit Management, or International Trade is advantageous.
• Trilingual communication skills are preferred.
• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to understand and interpret financial statements.
• A marketing flair and an outgoing personality to engage with customers effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
