Postgraduate Institute of Agriculture hiring Senior Lecturer Grade II – Apply Now

The Postgraduate Institute of Agriculture (PGIA), University of Peradeniya, invites qualified candidates to apply for the position of Senior Lecturer Grade II (Temporary). This is a one-year contract role requiring candidates with relevant postgraduate qualifications and a B.Sc. in Agriculture or related fields.

Eligibility Criteria

• B.Sc. Degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Technology, or a closely related field.
• A relevant postgraduate qualification is essential.
• Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Research Supervision, involvement in Quality Assurance, and familiarity with Journal Management.
• Refer to UGC Circular Nos. 721, 08/2016 and Establishment Circular Letter NO. 3/2018 for detailed qualifications and specialization requirements.

Remuneration

• Monthly salary of Rs. 79,360/=

Period of Appointment

• Initially for one year.
