MAS Legato, the Shared Services arm of MAS Holdings, invites qualified professionals to join their Malabe office as an Associate in BPO Operations. This role plays a crucial part in enhancing operational efficiencies across finance, procurement, and HR services within the group.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Bank Reconciliation, and payroll for Australian entities.
- Reconciling business bank accounts and managing daily payment receipts.
- Handling the client mailbox and supporting fortnightly payroll processing.
- Ensuring compliance with PAYG/STP lodgements and superannuation requirements.
- Computing other tax liabilities such as GST and Payroll Tax.
- Preparing Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statements (IAS).
- Producing financial reports and performing account data analysis.
- Supporting new client onboardings and training activities.
Qualifications & Skills
- Degree in Finance or Financial Accounting.
- Professional qualification in CIMA, ACCA, or CASL is required.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in Australian Accounting.
- Hands-on experience with XERO, MYOB, and other related accounting software.
- Strong command of English and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Capability to work in the Australian time zone.
