Co-operative Wholesale Establishment Hiring Assistant General Manager – Apply Now

The Co-operative Wholesale Establishment, under the Ministry of Trade, Commerce, Food Security & Co-operative Development, invites applications from qualified Sri Lankan citizens for multiple Assistant General Manager positions at its Head Office in Colombo.

Available Positions and Salary Scale

• Assistant General Manager (Finance)
• Assistant General Manager (Supply)
• Assistant General Manager (Operations)

All positions follow the HM 1-2 – 2025 salary scale ranging from Rs. 143,120 to Rs. 204,620.

Qualifications

Assistant General Manager (Finance)

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration, or Commerce, recognized by the University Grants Commission.
• Postgraduate Degree (Master’s) in a relevant field or associate membership of a recognized professional chartered institute relevant to the post.
• Minimum 13 years managerial level experience in a Corporation, Statutory Board, Institution, or reputed private institution after obtaining the first degree.
• Alternatively, full membership in a recognized professional chartered institute with a minimum of 13 years managerial experience.

Assistant General Manager (Supply)

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Business Administration, Accountancy, Finance, or Commerce recognized by the University Grants Commission.
• Postgraduate Degree (Master’s) or associate membership of a relevant professional chartered institute.
• Minimum 13 years managerial level experience after obtaining the first degree in relevant organizations.

Assistant General Manager (Operations)

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing Management, Business Management, Public Management, or Commerce recognized by the University Grants Commission.
• Postgraduate Degree (Master’s) or associate membership of a relevant professional chartered institute.
• Minimum 13 years managerial level experience after the first degree.
• Full membership in a recognized professional chartered institution and similar experience as above.
