People’s Bank, a leading bank in Sri Lanka with over six decades of service, is seeking committed and enthusiastic youth to join as Management Trainees in specialized areas including Risk, Audit, Finance, Compliance, and Business Revival. Eligibility Requirements

• Must be a citizen of Sri Lanka
• Possess full qualification (passed finalist) of one of the following professional bodies:
  • The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (ICA-SL)
  • The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA-UK)
  • The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA-UK)
• OR possess minimum Level II qualification in Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)
• Minimum one year experience in Audit, Finance, Risk Management, Compliance – preferably in a bank, financial institution, or reputed audit firm
• Maximum age is 28 years as of the closing date of applications

Method of Selection

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a structured interview to assess their technical knowledge and skills relevant to audit, finance management, compliance, risk management, and business revival. Selection is merit-based. Appointments will be on a two-year fixed-term training contract, with annual performance evaluations.

Terms and Conditions

• Hands-on training will be provided across departments such as Risk Management, Credit Control, Audit, Finance, Management Accounting, Compliance, and Business Revival.
• Successful completion of training may lead to permanent appointment equivalent to Assistant Manager (3-III), at the bank’s discretion.
• Monthly allowance of Rs. 100,000/- will be paid during the training period.
• Number of vacancies and appointment dates will be determined by the bank.
